Was $2.69 yesterday. Today $2.79. Going DOWN you say? I'm sure that Nigerian pipline explosion will cause prcies to go up even more.

That's how I've noticed they've been raising their prices the last few years.

It starts out at one amount, jumps enormously, then falls back some. People are just so relieved they're not paying the original amount, they seem to forget the actual increase from the original amount is still HUGE.

3.40 still here in Orange County, but if you go north about twenty mins. you can find stations with 3.19. Big difference. Man, my husband commutes an hour and half each way everyday - I really need that gas price to come down.

Just down for a little while. They'll go back up just wait. Their trying to make ya think wow gas is down and to have you forget about an investigation or stop complaining a little while about gas at $3 a gallon so they can boost it to $4.

I'm guessing it has more to do with what you're used to paying. If your price jumped up to $12 or $13 overnight people over there would probably be complaining too...and rightfully so.

The US is BIG. We have to drive far to get to places. Unike in Europe where each county is 10 miles wide. We also have crappy/non-existant public transportation.

Take a look at your ACTUAL price of the gasoline and how much tax you are paying on that gas

You pay most of the price in taxes so you can have socialized everything

Here in the US we have to pay out of pocket for all that.

To get a college degree here in a private university your talking a Minimum of 50-100k and thats just for a 4 year degree. forget Grad school

I pay 6000.00 a year for health insurance and even with that still have to come out of pocket extra to meet the deductible then the co-pays. If i had a family it would be more like 15-20k a year in premiums

It all adds up.

Are you kidding? Lots of people are driving lots less. Our local public transportation was in serious danger of closing down last year due to lack of passengers. Now you see people at bus stops all the time and they have actually added new routes. Must just be your city that is full of stupid people.

It was down quite a bit early in the week but it's back up 10c/L here suddenly. Back over $1/L
