new here and what do you look for in a payment solution

hey all - new to GFY and the business - lots of great info and people here. I have a good source for some original niche content and am thinking about starting up a paysite.

i'm wondering what you look for in a payment solution for your site ... concerned about getting gouged and not getting much in return. is it better to get a merchant account and build everything myself, or should i go with ccBill or one of the other solutions that seem to provide a bit more ... is it worth the extra charges for things like ticketing, subscriptions, phone billing, etc.?

Also, are there any good tutorials I should be reading?

go with one of the big guys, ccbill will do you right.. if you dont want startup fees you can go with https://myvirtualcard.com/presignup.php?id=145 as they do tangibles and regular porn. However they do charge a per transaction fee. At the expense of saving the VISA ISPS fees its a quick choice to get going.

Merchant account is good to. However if you have no history it may be hard to get one.
