hmm anyone hear about this , just heard a blurb on cnn , wtf.. says its the first ever polar bear grizzly hybrid ever seen , and some nut shot it, but they didnt explain why.. the thing looked kickass..

Apartmently he paid 50k to hunt polar bears.

Wasn't the first one seen. Just the first one in the wild. What I saw on the news said they had mated before in captivity but scientists always wondered if they'd ever mated in the wild since their habitats do cross a little. Also said the guy paid over $40K to hunted polar bears in Canada.

Not quite the same. I've been hunting since I was 6yrs but I'm not a trophy hunter like this guy was. Most people that hunt for the meat don't like trophy hunters much.

Agree - hunting for survival (food or clothing) is natural instinct. Not a lot of that these days though compared to past ages...

Still, my point was if humans can kill wild animals for fun, why can't we do the same to other humans.....
