I registered a domain almost a year ago and never set up hosting. It was about to expire so I thought I would point it at Sedo to see if it made sense to renew it.. Its getting 500 type ins and making $3 a day.

What a waste.
I added a few more to sedo that I picked up from http://ipalert.com/ and well im at over $10 a day.

Im done with this working shit.
Laters I will be getting domains from http://ipalert.com/ and parking them.

we get all of our captures developed or parked within hours of acquisition for the very reason stated earlier in this thread. we have a shitload of type-ins and residual traffic captures now and IPalert is the greatest thing since shredded wheat :thumbsup

btw people, we captured activebucks.com recently and it gets 1000 uniques per day. we do not mess with downloads and installs. make me an offer i can't refuse and you can have some nice residual traffic to fux with too :)


we also captured fatties.biz which is getting several thousand hits per day and making money as well. it was a porn site prior to its expiration.


another with traffic and sales is cdn-pharmacy.com which is getting several hundred uniques per day and making parked revenue. we are open to offers and can supply stat's upon request.

experience is the best teacher. but it can be expensive.

just landed 2pee.com - already making money. drops rule.

How does ipalert help find traffic names? I coudn't figure it out from their website. Does it check for old backlinks on expiring names?

we run all of the pending deletes through places like alexa and google and dmoz and more and automatically add any available data to your data. you can make that a start and then check link popularity, overture and more in one click.

XPays would you please explain the difference between the 'Pro' and the 'Platinum' features?

All it says on your site is 'Unlimited Search' for pro and 'Advanced Search - Dictionary Search' for platinum, which doesn't really explain very much to someone not already familiar with those functions.

i suppose 'dictionary search' would give you list of one word domain names that are from a dictionary (and not made up or misspelled)... that's just my wild guess!!!

Yep, if you are truly getting 500 type ins a day, then forwarding to a parking page is a complete waste. Forward to an affiliate link corresponding to whatever niche the domain represents and you'll make far more than $3/day.
