I thought I remember BRS being offered a deal like that way back when?

(Like 10k or something not sig related.)

In hindsight that would be a pretty sweat deal, assuming you got some whales out of it :)

You offering $10k to bring in affiliates?

Seems like it's to late nowadays, but back then it probably would've been smart, assuming they stayed and sent lots of sales.

I bet deals like this still go on everyday, I'm out of the loop tho.

Serge "brokered clicks" and "did payouts" for certain programs back in the day. He'd buy low and sell reasonably. As far as I know his "legend" doesn't include the types of deals you're mentioning. But I don't know every detail of his past dealings. Only what business I did with him myself :winkwink:

I'd rather take a bounty ($ or %) per sale personally. I've made more than half a million $'s alone over the years just referring people to various programs.

Not bad for playing matchmaker :thumbsup

I don't think it will fly today. Too many idiots sign up, grab the hosted galleries and expect to make money. They send 1 signup a month if they convince their friend to sign up..
The numbers I hear from my paysiteowner friends are insane. Hundreds of webmasters sign up, but very very few send any decent traffic.
I don't think anyone would pay a flat fee per webmaster unless it included an activity minimum.

Yeah, I was thinking more like J$TYE$ was saying. People who could basically just refer their friends that just happen to have a shit load of traffic.
