Hey guys, I just finished my first TGP, check it out. Im sure your going to slam me for it but honest should I do anything else?

You might want to learn the difference between a TGP and a gallery for starters.

well tell me if im wrong but isnt it that a TGP is a page that has vid, pics, etc and a gallery is a page with multiple TGP? tell me if im wrong

a gallery is a page with either pics or vids and then a link towards your sponsor.

a TGP is a site full of galleries.

TGP = Thumbnail Gallery POST <- i.e. a place that lists thumbnail galleries.

I thought most TGPs required you used vid caps for thumbs and not higher res pics

Why? As long as the pic matches the video why should we care? We want galleries that look great.

SgtStrider: Don't use spaces in your file/directory names and make everything lowercase.. web servers are typically NOT windows machines. They're case sensitive (windows isn't) and some scripts don't like spaces in the url.

That's a damn good looking gallery for your first. Keep it up, you will slowly improve. I've been at it for 2 years or so and you SLOWLY get the hang of it and get better.

Also, not sure if you have looked into a submitter or not, but I bought a submitter on day 1. I think it's one of the better ways to submit your galleries. After awhile you can start requesting partner accounts and that will greatly increase your traffic. I use Chameleon and LOVE it. If you want to check it out click here

see in this lies that it's thumbnails to galleries not to pictures.

what you have made, quite good actually, is a gallery, which will have a thumb placed on a TGP

Lol, go easy on the poor guy. I might have flamed him until I saw how good that gallery was for his first. Christ, my first gallery looked like a retarded first graders homework project.

He's a damn good gallery builder, so let's go easy on him ;)
