Epass payments: why can't some sponsors say who they are??
 

It's sooo annoying that some sponsors send money though Epass but really try hard to hide their identity. I just got a payment from "icsent", now how am I supposed to know who that is? Can anyone tell me? Thx!

Most sponsors tell you in their TOS how the payments will come.

I know I've had the same thing where I get the 'mystery payment' and have to track back to whomever is 'xyz media corp' or whatever. However I would have bigger issues worrying about a bounced payment, then where it came from. :winkwink:

I appreciate emails so I can update it asap, lots of them send from different ones all the time

TOS? Well, even if I ever read them, would I still remember? And I should somehow be able to track my payments, how would I otherwise find out if someone doesn't pay me?

no, I would not expect that. That would be a major pain in the ass. I was just saying that I found it in their FAQ. :)

Before Rand left ePassporte he said they were working on something that would identify the sponsor with every payment. Since he's left I've not heard a single word about it.

I agree it would be an immense help. Sometimes in the account listing (as opposed to email) it will say who it's from, but at times I go crazy trying to find out who sent me payment.
