You are correct. It also shows a complete lack of respect for your affiliates. Acting like you are too busy is one thing, but rubbing things in people's face is another.

I have a shitload of sex toy traffic/masturbation SE traffic (actually rank top 3 in Google for some big terms) and signed up for Fleshlight awhile ago. Waited awhile before putting up links to see if the system would be updated. After seeing this, I'll stick to companies that give a crap about affiliates and want traffic.

Looked pretty goofy to me.

The rant will fade with time. FL will have a new affiliate area that will please many do doubt. Just can't expect a new staff to put that together overnight. From the letter in the FL affiliate area, the efforts really began in earnest this month.

As for Ramos and his career?? Not scoring a lot of points right now. Next steps will be important for sure.

I already made my rant in other threads, so I'm willing to wait and see what happens. The product could make some decent bucks.

I would be just as irate if I were in you affiliates' shoes; however, just playing devil's advocate here, it's possible someone else was posting on his account if someone did it before, right? If he's in Toronto with a lot of other webmasters, well, we all know people play those pranks on each other all the time.

well, if I was in charge of affiliates for a program and knew they were pissed off, I would spend all day goofing off instead of addressing issues.

In most cases, it likely is. I was just considering all possibilities before I jumped on the bandwagon; which I won't do at this point. However, like I said, I do sympathize and understand the position those who did are in.

The reason it even occurred to me to ask is the fact that one of my girlfriends got an IM from a Yahoo ID that I have, but NEVER use on messenger, the other day. I positively know it wasn't me, and since I don't ever use that ID on messenger, it's not possible that someone logged in from saved info on my YM. I don't really know exactly how that happened, but it did, and it wasn't me.:2 cents:

Ive read through this crap, and seriously dont know what you expect Ramos to do in the short time he has been with fleshlight in the capacity he is now. Just who among you can fix the problems an existing program had in just a few weeks? Everything needs revamped. From what Ive seen they tried sticking some bandaids on it to keep the affiliates happy till they can do a new one from scratch. I understand that the whole thing is being redone. It would be difficult for them to shut down the whole affiliate program while they retool it, and I think they are doing the best they can to get this done as fast as possible. Cut the dude some slack and give him time to get things fixed and back on track. I guess you all imagine a room full of programers plugging away 24/7 lol:1orglaugh

dude, it has nothing to do with the timeframe getting everything done, it has to do with the lack of care ramos is showing anyone

it is getting so bad, that there are people not getting paid unless they contact the head guy directly...that goes FAR beyond any "we will get it done with time" answer

the problems fleshlight has been having have been going on for MONTHS, not days....just because ramos started working full time for them, does not change the fact that these things should have been working to begin with, we just now have someone to vent to

and to add salt to the wound, ramos keeps making jokes and playing like he always has...it is almost like an avoidance thing he has going on, it isn't new, but I just thought with his new amazing position he would take shit a little more serious

Let's put it this way, if I owned a company as large as fleshlight and I had just hired Ramos, and I came on to GFY to find all the negative things being said, with ramos just replying in his silly faggy way he always does...he would be fired on the spot

I want professionalism, is that too much to ask? I don't care if you take 4 months to make the perfect affiliate program out of fleshlight, just be honest, be professional and don't jerk me around while you are doing it...and ramos has become the king of jerking people around
