Do You Rent Spaces to Shoot Content?

Do you rent spaces to shoot content?

How much do you pay to rent a space?

How much space do you need for a shoot?

Do you prefer a raw, empty versatile space
or
do you search for furnished space with a certain look?

We've got a studio in LA and rent it out occasionally. :)

I've heard people rent big huge nice homes and just pay like 100 bucks an hour...

I'm curious about this too cuz I would TOTALLY rent out my place on the weekends for 1000 bucks a day.

Sometimes.

People's houses mainly.

Furnished.

we rent furnished apartments for the shoots
but sometimes I wish we had a studio, cause sometimes renting apt. and moving all the stuff there is such a pain in ass :1orglaugh

Motels are fine, but don't you get tired of them all looking the same?

Is there a market for open spaces with just plain backdrops?
