Can you believe that they would actually kill someone by stoning them to death? Thats fairly primitive. Although, it shouldn't be surprising considering what part of the world this is happening in.

They've stoned people to death for much less than adultery. I think, in some middle eastern countries, what they do now is... Dig a hole, put the person in it, and push stones into the hole with a bulldozer. It's considered more humane :eek7

I was wondering how they go about doing the stoning.

Do they just let anyone throw stones at the person? Or does the government hire a bunch of "stoning executioners" who get to throw the stones?

Considering that the population of Turkey is over 95% muslim, and that it shares a border with countries like Iran, Iraq, and Syria, I fail to see how Turkey is more European than Middle-Eastern.

What would you think about a country where the brother kills his sister because she had a boyfriend ? where a women can be divorced ( expelled ) because she didn't get pregnat ?

Stoning to death was a common form of punishment in the Middle East for 1000s of years. Read the Bible. Leviticus orders the stoning of people for such things as disobeying your parents.

Now the guillotine, THAT was a humane death sentence. Those French Revolutionaries had something going on.

I remember when i was about 5 years old. Someone told me a story about some woman getting her head chopped off in a guillotine. And she ran around like a headless chicken for 5 minutes while her decapitated head screamed for help. I believed it. Could not sleep for a month. Kept picturing this damn head yelling at me. lol.

If they had laws like that worldwide and the stonings were brodcast on national television, I'm sure that women wouldn't be cheating on their men, they'd keep their pussies in their pants, ha ha ha.

How much BULLSHIT is it for a community to fucking let a government do the killing for us? While we sit back comfy in our sofa's -- we have hired help do the real dirty work... To me that is just as sick. How can a community of people execute someone according to the laws of the community if you can't look that fucker in the eye and be OK... How many of YOU could take that needle and inject some prisoner -- ending his life!? I think every time we put someone on death row -- every fucking person in that community should have to watch that person die -- BECAUSE the community is RESPONSIBLE for that death... Letting your government do all the dirty work behind closed doors is EVEN MORE SICK.
