I dont think they are made sata 7200 rpm is as fast as you can get currently

not available for laptop's yet - drives run too hot and draw too much juicy!

I don't see drive spead as the issue in performance anyway - the seek time on a 7500 compaired to a 10k won't make a noticable differance anyway - the average speed of a lap top drive is 5,400 rpm anyway - I don't think you will see a real change till drive buffer sizes hit the 32 and 64 k levels

Got myself a 10k rpm harddrive for my desktop with amd64.

I'm lovin it... no more bottle necks. Things just work so much better.
