WTF!! wordpress 404 returns 200 status in header

So, any idea why a wordpress blog 404 would show 200 status in the header

I got that message once, as well. Never did get it resolved.

put this in the top of the page

sorry, I should have been more clear....make your 404 page a php and put that in the top of the page

if it is HTML, i have no clue because I work in all php pages

does google sitemaps really help? i never heard of it til now and i just checked it out..

Sitemaps is awesome... def want to be using it on your sites.
