look on your toolbar, at the very bottom it allows you to export to image ready

do that, then Save Optimized As...

you have to export from image ready

file > save for web

Shocking 05-10-2006 02:02 AM

Go to file and then use the save optimized option or shift+ctr+alt+s that will make it too.
you will pront a new window with options to save it in gif or jpg format for example. (at least that's how it is in Photoshop CSII) and good to go with the html file:thumbsup

wow, you're clueless :1orglaugh

in image ready simply save optimized. You can preview the output in the optimized view, choose every slice to be a gif or jpg, adjust resolution, amount of colors and do on. You can apply different specs to every slice, it's very easy.

In photoshop, just slice it with slice tool, then "Save for Web" and do the same as in Image Ready. However, in Photoshop you won't be able to save animated gifs

in both cases, the output is an html, and fool around with the options to see what you can do, ie background, CSS style, file naming and such
