Your Neighbors...
 

Another thread got me thinking, primarly do to the number of responses saying they do not even know their neighbors names.

Just how well do you know them if at all and why or why not?

I know their names but I don't really speak to them.

i can't seem to find the "i have no neighbors because i killed them" option

I speak to them when I see them

I sometimes say hello but I can't remember their names lol

All my neighbors freak me out because most of them are middle aged single guys who always give me shit when i go to take my trash out or do laundry. Always asking me why I didnt ask them to do it. Kinda freaky!

all i know is they have a dog and speak french :1orglaugh

Oh and to answer it myself.
I could tell you the names of each people in each house three houses down minimum on both sides of the street in both directions.
Both myself and my fiance are sociable with most of them as well. We have even watched their houses for them and they the same and we have also done BBQ's together.

I know the names of the people 4 houses up in one direction, and 3 in another. Also the names of the people right behind.

I know them because I live in a small town. 2 of them were in my class at school. I have nice neighbors. I just am a private person and don't socialize.

my neighbors are all fucktards, so i refer to them as such :thumbsup

8+ years, and have never talked to any of them more than 20 seconds.

Haven't a clue what their names are, or what they do for a living. The most I know is they have dogs who bark all the time, shit all over the yard, they don't pick it up, and have been in the crosshairs of my rifle countless times.

i just moved so that is a little off... but normally I would at least know them or their names... not sure bout the social aspect

I have lived here 10 years..there was a woman across the way from us that we knew very well but she moved last year. Since then I can name one of my neighbors by first name but not surname. People know my name, I guess because I am 'the American' but 10 years on I feel bad asking them what their names are. More and more this is becoming an area where people don't stick around long enough anyway to keep track who is living in which apartment.

Most everyone in both directions at least five houses all own their own house aside from one of my tenets. Most are also seniors as well so they are not going anywhere soon unless its in a bag.

I don't know her that well but we have get drunk togheter a couple of times. And did make out.. But I haven't fucked her...yet. =)

I know their names, but never really speak to them. If they are passing by i say "hi"...

I have vacationed with them, regularly hang out together here in the development......

We are all pretty much the same age here and having similar interests. Makes for living together nuch easier than being pissed. :thumbsup

I only know two of my neighbouring households: one because their dog bit my dog through the fence, and the other because their 4 year old son had a koolaid stand that I patronized last summer, and he ended up showing me his swing set in his backyard and the pumpkins he was growing and his dogs and gosh just about everything a four year old can see or reach in his back yard. That kid wore me out in 10 minutes more than any kickboxing class. Very, very nice people.

They are Chinese..they tend to keep to themselves
