Do Your Nieghbours Know Your A Adult Webmaster?
 

Just wondering how many webmasters actually tell there neighboors what they do for a living.?
Personally i dont develop relationships beyond hi and bye with mine.would rather have them think im an ashole for not being mr sociable than dislike me for what i do for work or play for that matter.:rasta Also next thing ya know they want you to teach them how to work from home...want free porn....come by whenever your home wanting to hang out...stop you in the dirveway to bullshit when you get back with the pizza just in time to catch sopranos..yadda yadda yaddaa:2 cents:

I have a hard enough time explaining what I actually do to my family, more or less some stranger. Most my neighbors don't even know I work.

I've been living next to one lady for 5 or 6 years, and I'll be damned if I even know her first name :) She drives a small red car *shrug*

I think my mail carrier knows, because there's some stupid businesses that send snail mail to your whois address with it addressed to <domain name>. Thats always swell.

All my neighbours are retired folks for the most part, except a tenet and the family across the street. Then to answer your question, no they do not know.

Neighbors are people I say hello to when I'm outside in my yard and they are outside in theirs. I don't have conversations with them of any length, or any substance.

In short, no they do not know.

Nope, and the new place we are moving is pretty much older people right now until the newer houses get put up some younger couples are moving into. So don't think they will be knowing

My neighbor is a cop. He's nice, for the most part, but i try not to talk too much with him.

I don't know what most of my neighbors do for a living, so they don't know what I do. I've told a few in the past, at a different place I lived at. I met a woman in the pool that ran an escort agency and another neighbor shot content. Around here my neighbors are more professional and I don't want them staring at me funny and talking about me. I just tell them I work online if they ask. They probably all assume I work in adult but don't want to bring it up or judge me without being sure.

I dont even know who my neighbour is!!!! :1orglaugh Don't know what he/she looks like and I've been here 9 months.

I leave my house like once every 2 weeks at best and we never ran into each other and never felt the need to.

I do not talk to them, so they haven't a clue why I am home 90% of the time during the day. It's none of their business, and I wouldn't answer if asked.

Unless you work for me, are in the business, or a close friend. You have no idea what I do since I do not talk about it.

had that happen a few times also with the mail :mad:

whats fucked is when you forget to shred that mail and it sits on your counter for a few days and then someone from your family or a friend happens to see it lol

I barely talk to my neighbors as it is.

Most of my neighbors think I'm a drug dealer, which is better than having them know I do porn.

i think i said hi to one of my neighbors once, thats about it.

i just moved into a new house so noone knows me or anything i do. :)

hell no! nothing good can come out of my neighbors knowing what i do for a living.

It not socially axcepted and for those who have kids probably would feel really shitting when little Billy next door cant play because daddy is in the porn industry.

My girlfriend knows, and one of my friends know. None of my family has any clue.

I prefer to avoid my neighbors, both of them leave a fucking patch of grass next to my yard every time they mow.

I've already lost one regular job when a few people from work found out. I worked there for three years and they fired me a couple days after someone complained. They had no work-related reasons at all.

They are Chinese..so no I don't associate with them

Several neighbours (those I talk to on a regular basis) know what I do for a living. We've always been very open about our lifestyle and livelihood. Its a legal and honest endeavour and we've always been proud of what we do.

Our families have always been aware as well (hell, my father-in-law is also my company accountant, heh).

Nope, myneighbours don't know. They probably think i'm either unemployed or doing something dodgy...doesn't really bother me - not interested in what they do either
