actually if his body temperature drops enough (maybe they're planning on chilling the water) his body could go into hypothermia (sp?) and the lack of oxygen wouldn't be as damaging...

I agree, its cool as hell to watch him on that show where he freaks people out on the street, but when he drags it out to last days is dumb. People don't have the attention span to follow through on the whole thing.

I think he's trying to beat Houdini. While of course he does this for the money, I think there's more to it for him. I don't think he started doing magic to make millions of dollars, I think everyone agree he's passionate about it.

Therefore, I don't think he cares if he's boring people, or taking too long.. The whole point is that he's pushing his own limits. I doubt he'll break 9 mins though. He'll just passout and they'll rescue him
