The very fact that they are going through the motions of soliciting public opinion tells me that they have probablly already made up their mind.

For those of you thinking ICANN is composed of intelligent, rational individuals take a look at the verisign contract they just approved. All they give a shit about right now is more TLDs so they can collect more fees. .XXX is by far the most lucrative opportunity they have had to date.
