Idiots that think they can HIJACK the .XXX of popular domains! Read here
Idiots thinking that they can grab .XXX extensions from someone that has already the .com or .net should get the heads out of their asses, you won't be getting shit.
You will just end up paying $100 from your momma's pension to get a new 123bs.xxx domain because you won't be able to use your $6.95 .com domain. That's right. The only ones that will benefit if this succeeds is: - political parties that will use this in their campaigns to get more votes for the following elections - radical religious organisations that will gain a bigger foothold over the free speech rights - registars that will offer the .XXX for $100!!!! - offshore banks and hosts You, the little opportunistic guy, will get squad, zero, zilch, you will loose more and more. SEO guys will loose positions when they copy their contents to the .XXX version of their site. TGPs will be the FIRST to get banned because of huge traffic count and the fact they're widely known! |

More like common retard get real dude. |
Actually, a few small guys would probably profit from it. Some would be able to snatch up a generic domain or two.
Of course, the vast majority would lose out immensely. |
im against it and all but where do you get this inof from?

first off, it's not hijacking unless it is a legally registered trademark, for example, like coca-cola.xxx , but stuff like fuck.xxx , pussy.xxx, adult.xxx , sex.xxx , it is all fair game as no person or business can legally trademark a single word!! The registar already has my list!!!

fact is, if they are going to do this with our objectional content, then they need to be moving all White Power sites to a .kkk domain, and all religious sites to a .rel domain, etc.... |

no one is going to force you to not use a .com... from the ICANN document:
The term "Adult-Entertainment" is intended to be understood broadly for a global medium, to include those websites that convey Adult Entertainment, operated by webmasters who have voluntarily determined that a system of self-identification would be beneficial. |

btw. i am 100% for a solution that stops minors from accessing adult content but i am 100% against a solution that allows for indescriminate filtering (isp's, govt., etc..) of content on the net...

The reason the US won't give up control of the Net is because they would love to Heard all adult content domains world wide onto .xxx then filter them in the US ISP level by law.
