    .xxx and Gun control .....

    .xxx is NOT like gun control ...

    For or against gun control, both sides get represented. The underlying right is the issue. That will not happen with porn.
    .XXX is step one toward outright censorship. Censorship thru control.

    The right to bear arms will be argued forever. Freedom of speech and "ass to mouth - bukkake cheerleaders" will not. ..... Trust me on this .....

    Not ONE of our customers is going to make a strong public stand.

    No major lobby group will defend us thru public donations.

    No major hollywood stars will run point for porn.

    No politician will vigorously defend us.

    No politician will fear lost votes at election time.

    The absolute worst of our peers will lead the cause against us.

    No free samples of guns arrive in the mail to use as negative examples.

    Gun control forums aren't full of lazy, short-sighted, it will never happen to us, wise-ass post whores.

HBO.com sells episodes of Sapranos, Oz and Sex in the City etc, and I can tell you that most Jesus freks ( who will be making these laws ) think that's "adult" material. Is HBO going to want to have to have hbo.xxx in order to sell thier merhcandies. Same thing with other sites. Movie studios have started to come out with "unrated" versions of their movies on DVD. I can tell you that "unrated" movies are certainly going to be labled as "adult" material regardless of their content. universal.xxx and paramount.xxx, yeah I'm sure they are looking forward to that.

                              I think you are right, all "art" sites will be affected as well. Will they react in time?

                                          Yeah, the day the polticos start worrying about the porn vote will be the day... what people dont understand is that porn is American. Porn is patriotic. Come on, I cant think of ANYTHING more patriotic than a chick getting her brains banged out for the shutter.
