gangbangjoe: We have adult traffic, but we have no problem sending it to a mainstream site (that is, if your host and sponsors are ok with that). See www.buyfpctraffic.com

Gangbangjoe,

Usually, mainstream traffic isn't purchased the same as adult traffic. The most common way is to go to mainsteam ad networks like fastclick.com, advertising.com, revenue.net, oridian.com and a ton of others and buy banner ads that will be run either in the categories you choose - or you can choose run of network (RON).

Then there are adware companies that have contextual advertising capabilities. Their adware is bundled with popular products like smileys or screensavers and it is how those products are kept free to users. The adware sees the URL when a surfer surfs and can contextually target the ads. So if a surfer is on expedia.com you could pop your travel site. Some people have religion around whether that's cool or not, but it's legal. These networks include exactadvertising, claria, whenu, 180solutions, hotbar (there are more, but these are the top tier).

The category networks like fastclick will be a lot cheaper than the contextual networks by a lot, but it depends upon your category.

I hope that helps.

You forgot to mention that these same companies will turn around and steal your sales/leads by overwriting your affiliate id with theirs.
