CCBILL's response about not being able to d/l webmaster email addresses

Here is CCBILL's response to my concerns
about NOT being able to d/l my webmaster
email addys with their NEW affiliate software/prg.

I myself.. am removing CCBILL as an option for
my webmasters!

Hello.

Unfotunately, we do not have that capability now. That function will not be available in our new referral admin, because of the Spam potential. Since we own a hosting company, we must be more wary of that type of email abuse than other companies. If you go into referral admin and click on affiliate status, then the partner ID number, you will get the information of that partner. It includes the email address. You would have to copy that email address into your outlook or other email program in order to be able to retrieve it, and then only if the partner selects to allow you to see the partner details when he signs up.

Sorry I couldn't give you better news about that.

Have a good day,
Melissa O.

I guess starting one thread about it didn't assuage your ego enough, but not reading MY CORRECT answer in the thread is just plain ridiculous.

What exactly does that have todo with this thread???

J.R. 05-15-2002 03:16 PM

Why should I have to copy and past EVERY damn
email I send to my hundreds of webmasters ?

I don't have all day to collect each one, also.. we
have webmasters who don't want our newsletters
so how is using their EMAIL system for emailinf affiliates
going to help me ??????

I use SubscribeMe Exec. to email my webmasters to
keep them informed on our updates of free content
and new banners.

CCBILL has had the old system in place for years, to change
it overnight and NOT tell anyone is pretty hard to work with
for me.

I have been using CCBILL since 1998 give or take a few.
When I ran Busty-Amateurs before it closed, we have over
12,000 webmasters... to email them individually...no thanks.

Anyways.. its up to you all who you use, I like full control
like I get with iBill & Paycom/Epoch.

:2 cents:

Sly_RJ 05-15-2002 03:19 PM

For some crazy reason I agree with J.R. But I'm still pissed that I have to change all my links.

J.R. 05-15-2002 03:20 PM

No, I am not going to remove them. I am most likely
not going to offer them for other webmasters to use
unless they want too.

I pride myself on offering iBill, CCBill and Paycom
so people can choose who they like.

Isn't ignorance bliss?

So that you can understand this, I'm going to go slowly.

No one has to email their webmasters one at a time. Emailing webmasters is easier than ever with our system. So fucking easy, you can even choose which webmasters to mail. Active... inactive... those that sent you sales yesterday... those that send you sales above a certain number... those that send you traffic of x amount or more... or less... It is so simple now it's not even funny.

It's right there in the interface, and takes almost no time to do it.

For site owners who allow others to administer their sites, or allow their own customer service reps, etc. into their admin, it's actually a protective mechanism that allows the site owner to keep their own email lists and not have them ripped off by people that work for them. Something I'm sure people here are familiar with.

IF you are a site owner and you'd like to have your emails downloadable to you, then you can email me and I'll have someone get them for you at a time interval that is convenient.

Any more questions?

Thanks Kimmy..

If more people were helpful like
you, then there would been no issues ;-)

I will see what I can get done.

If you get frustrated with answers, the best thing to do is let me know. My people aren't perfect, and sometimes they aren't concise and clear either lol --

The official reason Busty Amateurs closed:

Take a note of it...

Busty closed due to the owner Jeff N. had lost interest
in BA and was no longer interested in Pornography.

He met a girl that was not into porn, he found religion
and that was the end of BA.

BA made over 450k a month, BA was the HIGHEST grossing
single amateur site in the world! I was a partner of BA
since the site had opened in August 1998.

I ran the entire marketing/affiliate program while BA was
open, I had no legal recourse to keep the site once Jeff
decided to close BA.

BA was a killer site, it was the best! I lived the site.. I lost
10k a month in recurring and 75k a yeay salary and
5% of the profits..

I opened my own site with the same ideas, concepts
as BA had. In 4 months, I had already gained over 2400 active
members..70% of them are former BA members.

Naturally, I had the contacts to gain these #'s in a short
amount of time.

If there is anything you want to know about me or BA
then ask away..
