Need profitable offline business ideas
 

Looking to do something profitable with a closed down restaurant. Do not want to spend over $10,000 in startup costs. Must be a 9-5 type business. I was thinking a massage parlour, anyone know a thing or two about those? Are they dangerous businesses to get into? Not the best area for anything fancy. Hope to hear some ideas :)

I would maybe go with a hair or nail salon and just rent out the damn booths and get a small cut.

Resturants are very profitable if your cook dosent suck. Make a killing on breakfast. Everything has a HUGE markup.

Two eggs over easy: Cost: $0.30 - Retail: $2.95
Bagels: Cost: $0.20 - Retail: $2.10
List goes on.

Yeah but most laundromats are in higher crime areas (soccer moms don't use laundromats, crack whores do), which adds a whole new dimension to things. Not the easiest operation in the world.

I would like to know how exactly to start a restaurant for under 10K. Unless you guys live in Jamaica and are planning on using a shack for your store front, that is. Anyway, I'd like to see the business plan for that one, lol. My husband and I have plans to start a themed restaurant in the future and the cost is more like 100K.

Hookah bar was actually my first idea but this is in Chinatown so there might not be a market. As far as the 10k goes, the place already has a restaurant type setup w/ equipment so the only investment would only be inventory.

restaurants are kinda like bars. they're either hit or miss. its not neccesarily the safest investment, and restaurant work is hard and gross(assuming you plan to actually be at the place yourself)

personally, i prefer investing where i dont have to do an awful lot of physical work to make it profitable. thats my ultimate goal, anyway.

Step 1: Collect underwear

Step 3: Profit

PS: On 10k alone there's basically no company that you could viablly start, especially if you need to do any sort of renovating which I'd imagine you would. Rent the space.

There are no startup costs, the only costs for me would be inventory, everything else is covered. Rather it not be retail, focusing on some type of service.
