i met them a couple of times when they recorded their second album - we were always at the same rock club in Hamburg/Germany. they are really nice and laid back in person, the guitar guys explained us (i was playing in a band at that time) how they do their guitar sound and stuff and the keyboard player and i tried to get laid the same girl that was working behind the bar (neither of us managed it).

just Till, the singer, is as fucked up in person as he appears in the clips and as the lyrics are like. coked up, drunken and really no one you would introduce to your parents :winkwink:

Yeah; one of the problems I had when I was trying to learn German (and listening to Rammstein) was the fact that they often use phonetic slurs or wordplay puns.

"Du Hasst", the most widely known, is often taken as "You Hate." However, "Du Hast" is 'You Have." There's a pretty good writeup on everything2, actually.

..I ended up being distracted from progressing with German.. haven't bothered to start again, since my enunciation is always wrong, and I've had nobody to exchange pleasantries with. ;)
