People That add you on ICQ
 

and then dont say a word, :1orglaugh wtf, i had three people add me yesterday and they say nothing.

I do that when I'm working on something and it comes to mind that I might need to contact you or ask a question.. so I'd add you and then my phone rings or someone else is bugging on icq with something more important, then it slips my mind till months later.. lol

hahaha, maybe take the icq out of your sig? and give it to people who ask for it

I sometimes do it after shows if they are on biz cards...easier than emailing a follow up. I dont mean to not talk all the time, sometimes it's finding the time is the hard part but it's nice to be in touch and visible :)

Making people request auth to add you solves most of this.

same thing happens to me, I figure people just add me in case they would ever need some programming work done...

sometimes I add people to icq just to piss them off.
and it does too.

ya LC tried adding me at least 10 times in the past under a diff number cause i put him on ignore

I add numbers from biz cards as soon as I can, but then contact the people later sometimes.

Yeah he added me before, wasn't clear who he was I asked and deleted him.
Its Lawrence Connor he said he just changed his ICQ name. Then I came on here and saw his name. Now I recognize him from other boards.

If someone ICQ's they should identify themselves as being in the biz.
Otherwise I'd assume its just Spam :2 cents:
