CAVS vs. WIZARDS - Will Lebron Do It Again Tonight?

All you people that talked about how Kobe should be the MVP, admit you have changed your mind.

Lebron has been played better than both Nash and Kobe. He has 2 game winning shots. He is averageing more points than anyone.

After watching the Lakers completely choke over the past couple games it looks like the Lakers threads will be all dead and closed but the CAVS threads still got plenty of life.

Who's gonna win tonight? Will the CAVS finish the series tonight or will it go to game 7?

Downtime 05-05-2006 09:43 AM

i'd like to see the Cavs win, but washington is tough. should be a good game!

I expect to see one of the most impressive games out of LeBron James yet...he'll be sending the Wizards packing tonight. :pimp

Man, after what he did the last game, I don't know what else he's got. He is truly the best in the game right now. And then I'd say Gilbert Arenes is 2nd. He's sick too.

Lebron is good, that is true, but Kobe in my opinion is the all around best player.. There is nothing he can't do... Tonight should be a great game, I agree, but I think Washington and Arenas, put a stop to Cleveland, and go back there for one more game.... Should be a tight one....

If Kobe was all round better than LeBron, shouldn't his numbers be all round better than LeBron's? LeBron has the best numbers in the game...as far as all round game goes.

Is this a joke? Kobe scored 50 and still didn't win. Lebron is better and his numbers prove it ... its that simple.

Just curious .. are you cheering for Cleveland or Washington?

bdld 05-05-2006 10:44 AM

the cavs should win, they're by far the superior team. im surprised it went to 7 games, the cavs choked a couple of games this series.

It didn't...this is game 6 tonight

...and I wouldn't say they're by far superior, I think Washington has the better all round team...but they don't have LeBron.

I'm not going to cheer for anybody in that series, whoever wins that series is probably going to get swept in the next series anyways, so what's the point? Kobe basically by himself almost took the suns out, the #7 seed, and they probably will not win in phoenix, but the guy is amazing. Lebron is good, don't get me wrong, and in two or three years, he might be as good as Kobe, but for right now, I would have to say, Kobe is the best player in the league.. There shouldn't even be an arguement about that...

Can you post some numbers to prove your claim that Kobe is better?

Are you being serious? Do you seriously think that Lebron even compares to Kobe right now?

Come on bro, I belive your a Kobe Hater, but you have to appreciate the guys game, the desire he has to win, the defense, the will to compete. The guy is simply incredible.... Lebron is a great player, hes the best player on his team, but does he have what it takes to take them to the next level? Only time will tell...

yes, I do think he compares to Kobe. Absolutely. I'm not a Kobe hater, I just don't think he is the MVP everyone makes him out to be. The only thing he has on Lebron is championship rings and Shaq, Horry, Fisher and the coach had a lot to do with that.

I do think Kobe is one of the most skilled players to every play the game. No question about it. I've seen him make shots that I don't think anyone else can. But I truly think Lebron is much more of an asset to a team then Kobe is.

In a couple years when Lebron is leading his team to championship titles, then maybe then you'll start to agree.

Its all good .. I love hearing the views from other peeps.:winkwink:

Don't take this offensively, but I think you might be mentally retarded. :pimp

Either you're just a Kobe lover...or you don't watch enough of them equally. LeBron is on a totally different level than anyone else in the league...there is not other player as dominant as him right now...night in and night out.

and to the next level? He has taken them from the worst team in the NBA to a tie for the 8th spot in the playoffs as a 20 year old...and this year has them with the 5th best record in the NBA...as a 21 year old...I think they're well on their way to the next level.

I think their supporting casts are almost equal...and Kobe just managed to squeek his team into the playoffs...and last year wasn't close.

LeBron's everything...and with every elite player that comes in the league you hear this same bullshit for the first 3-5 years of the career, from people who are just talking out of their asses...and haven't taken the time to actually watch them play...and realize how special they are.

besides LeBron you must mean :pimp

Did you see those 3-4 fadeaways LeBron hit the other night...I don't know if there's anyone else in the league with the strength to hit those...he had me on my feet in my livingroom.

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh They are both clutch. Kobe does have game but Lebron is right there and in my opinion surpases Kobe in certain fields. The most important being team moral. Look at all the shit Kobe got himself into. He ratted out Shaq .. that right there was one of the big things that put Kobe in my "bad" book. No player should ever do that to their teammate.

Dude, those step back fadeaways he was dropping where crazy. Just as good as anyone in the league. I was yelling, jumping and going nuts. I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

King Adam 05-05-2006 03:00 PM

There is only one other person in the league that I thnk is on the same level as Lebron and that is Kevin Garnett. He is awesome. He scores, rebounds, assists, blocks and is the nucleous of his team. Its a shame he doesn't have any support anymore.

What I would do to get Garnett to Cleveland. Ilgauskaus is so slow and doesn't even jump anymore and we're paying him top dollar. You bring in Garnett and the CAVS will be repeat champs .. no doubt.

BannerDept 05-05-2006 03:21 PM

mmmmm Garnett in Cleveland...you sure know how to turn me on :pimp

I get wood just thinking about it. Thats all we are missing is a true big man. I like Z but he hasn't done much this series. Anderson Verajo is doing better than him right now. I love that crazy ass brazilian.

he gets the odd big rebound and brings some life to the game...but I don't find him aggressive enough...and has too many bad turnovers

He's still young and learning. Remember, he missed a lot of the season due to injury. His high energy is so huge and his defense is great. Once he learns how to score and be more productive on the court, he will be a top center. He has the potential.

CyberAgeGary 05-05-2006 07:18 PM

Umm, Where is Lebron right now?

Gilbert Arenas is playing with him..

Vitasoy 05-05-2006 09:45 PM

Looks like they did by 1 point :)

King James heads to round2

NTSS 05-05-2006 11:17 PM

Rode by the "Q" on my way home from my 9 to 5 and it was wild! People were honking horns, partying in the streets and screaming from their cars! If I wasn't a fan and hadn't watched the game myself I would have thought we won the NBA title....Bring it on Detroit!

GlamourGirlContent 05-07-2006 10:46 AM
