Thumb gallery file sizes question
 

had a few galleries get declined cuss of poor quality thumbs. these same pics compressed exactly the same got listed a few years ago no prob. i know thngs are alot tougher now with getting listings.

i'm wondering how large and what file size should my thumbs and full size pics be? i wanna save a bit on bandwidth so i'd like to know the min to get listed on just about every tgp.

Photoshop, "Save For Web", re-optimize your images (from full size). They may have been "compressed" too many times.

i have all the original pics saved so i can just redo them. i don't have photoshop, not enough $$ of that shit. could get a crack for one but fuck it!

Photoshop is an essential tool. Get it. No excuses.

You can use Fireworks instead of PS for web. Photoshop is only essential if you're doing print work.

all my thumbs are like 1-2k

i dont really see a need for photoshop. superjpeg is the shit :)

3k is okay for the thumbs

If you just want a program that compresses images, then get Image Optimizer. I use it -- it's a small program and puts Photoshop to shame!
