Need a new laptop... need advice...
 

I need a new laptop and am going to be buying one later this summer. Here's what I currently use and what I mainly use it for...

What I'm using now:
Toshiba Satellite
80GB Hard Drive

What I use it for:
Design (Dreamweaver, Firkeworks, Photoshop, Flash)
Office applications
Quickbooks

Not really into games or anything like that. Just mostly do work on it.

I am THINKING about maybe checking out an Apple laptop? My buddy has one and loves it. I've always used pc's, but I am thinking of changing. I've heard some bad things about Dell, so I don't think I am going to be using them...

Apple sucks because a lot of shit is only written for windows...

Apple laptops are not FASTER, they are SLOWER...

Apple laptops make colors look better, but that only comes into play when you do PRINT advertising... If your intended audience is PC users (98% of the world) then you should be looking at what they are seeing...

I'd get something that is 80GB hd, 512mb memory and 1.7ghz CPU... anything more and it is overkill... Like you said, you want to make money with it, not spend money (playing games like a faggot assed retard)...

Hmm, some good points. I do like the PC's. Any recomendation for brands? I have a Dell desktop, but I've heard mixed things about their laptops. My Toshiba has been great, so I'm thinking of getting one of those.
