YARGH! Make money off password thieves with this tool

YARGH!

Pirate mode disengaged

We've just released a new utility script on relinksoftware, that enables the software user to quickly generate authentic looking password trader sites/hacked password sites.

Some key features are listed below:

* Automatically generate a "fake" password site, directing surfers looking for "hacked" passwords to the sponsor, using your affiliate codes. Although these passwords will not function for the surfer, if they become frustrated that they can't find a working password, and signup -- you are the one who gets credit for the sale.

* Fully configurable to add or change sponsors, affiliate codes, and the look and feel of the site with ease.

* Options such as logo, site title, meta tags, and header text are fully configurable in one simple config file.

* Change options such as: display banners (yes/no), display banners every x number of lines, display x number of "hacked" passwords, and much more.

A fully functioning demo (that might make more sense then a feature list) can be seen at http://www.verifiedpasswords.com

You can order it for 45.00 which includes free lifetime upgrades, and support

when I click on a link I can see as I press down that it is an affiliate link, surfers are smarter than this

Damian_Maxcash 05-05-2006 02:09 AM

Something else you could do with this script is push to a "fake" paysite. Make it look good - chuck in a few free pics but fill it with upsells.

YARGH! We have a number of features planned if a there's enough of a demand for it.

I also forgot to mention this in an UNLIMITED license. You can set this up on as many URLs as you'd like FUCKER! :upsidedow

Well Dunn 05-05-2006 02:51 AM

wow great idea!

mrkris 05-05-2006 02:57 AM

what about the golf shoes?

RogerV4 05-05-2006 09:11 AM

Looks good. What kind of signup ratios are you doing? I would think they aren't so good since that traffic is just looking for free hacked passes.

inside of your fake password site tho you would have free sponsors such as cecash so you can make *some* money off the traffic

G-Rotica 05-05-2006 09:21 AM

That kicks ass! Now how about your paypal alternative?

Chris 05-05-2006 09:22 AM

take it to the next level guys
Use this and integrate it into his blogger program and have passwords "updated" to your blogs daily

but im sure your surfers will catch on

take it another step further

make the members area look REAL instead of just tours

pussyluver 05-05-2006 09:36 AM

Which leads to just do a site and offer free joins.....

munki 05-05-2006 09:39 AM

Looks like a sweet program

The Duck 05-05-2006 09:41 AM

umm, you can see the sponsor url if you hover the links.. as mentioned people are smarter than this.

And if the pass dont work they wont signup, they will just move on to the next pass site.

but the tool chio offers can help with all that it seems :)

Damian_Maxcash 05-05-2006 09:55 AM

With that game its all about quantity - not quality.

Whats better - 29 Google refers converting at 1:30 or 1001 Password traders at 1000:1?

Chris 05-05-2006 09:56 AM

damnian i would think the 1000:1 as it is alost easier to get those 1000 than the 29 quality hits from google ;)

RogerV3 05-05-2006 10:00 AM

cool idea..

ZEK 05-05-2006 10:09 AM

I like it! - nice work! the more savvy will soon catch on though

u-Bob 05-05-2006 10:09 AM

How's the paypal/epass clone coming? :)

MikeB 05-05-2006 10:48 AM

You should check with your sponsor before putting them on a fake password site. Some sponsors upon checking URLs, will see a password site and may terminate your account without checking to see if it is a real or fake password site. Let the sponsor know ahead of time and prevent any misunderstandings :-)

Bingo, that's the key. Some people have been saying that surfers are smarter than using this site ... my response is that SOME may be, but so what? Those surfers (who are paranoid enough to hold a mouse button down when they probably are typing ONE HANDED) won't be your customers. Also, some people have said that they will try a password, see it doesn't work, and move on. To that, I say that all you need is for them to click once -- and your ref code is what they're using if they sign up later.

From what paysite owners have told me, surfers looking for free passwords (if they are looking for a SPECIFIC site, not just "any" password) will sign up for an account if the sponsor has good security (i.e., few working passwords). This is the market people who run "fake" password sites are tapping. Sponsors who have been in the game for a while know all about this.

I think TheJimmy said it all:

You're definitely right: the savvy ones get it, and it's a no-brainer at $45.

*to the tune of "chia pets"*: C-c-c-c-chio!

Good advice, Mike! The funny thing is -- any sponsor big enough to bother checking links is probably big enough to notice a ref code and realize what is being done.

I'm going to definitely drop a line to some of my sponsors about the Password Site Pro page that I'm running. Just waiting for it to get google'd now.

CyberHustler 05-05-2006 02:29 PM

my first thought too, 99.99% of the sponsors have no password/warez sites in theit terms, informing them in advance is a rpetyy good idead, also people have been doing it for years but I bet you that 4-5 years ago everybody and their mother was searching for password site, today they're getting off on TGPS, P2P etc, not that passwords sites don't exist or don't get traffic but not as much as few years ago (my 2c)

YARGH! It's always a good idea to run things by your sponsors before trying anything new. A simple heads up goes a long way to avoiding problems later. :thumbsup

Does it matter? Its all about finding ways to convert traffic that wont normally convert.

Great idea, I love it!

Is there any way to make it show the name of the site that the "hacked" password is for? Seems like this would be important for SE spidering and stuff.
Also, do you offer a discount on multiple licenses, like if I wanted to buy a block of 10 or something, since it looks like I'd need a new license for each dom.

YARGH! This script license is unlimted. You can put it on as many urls as you'd like. We have a lot of features to beef it up planned (seo wise, etc.) but we'll see if a market exists for the software, as we have a number of other projects coming.
