and no, this isnt bagging on CCBill, we are actually moving all of our processing to CCBill because we believe them to be the best, but I got this e-mail from our sys admin; (and when he says hacking, he is referring to 'adapting it to our affiliate software')

I was hacking at the password management script for ccbill and came
accross this.





"Wavmanuk Sucks and His Mother Uses a Commedore 64<BR>Please Select
another Username and Password."



apparently if you try and join a ccbill site with wavmanuk as your
username or password, then you get that error message

hehe shrug, dont ask, im just cutting and pasting =)

Yep, that is indeed what you get if you try and use that username.

There's an old story behind it, been like that for quite some time --

Ahhh thanks Kimmy, you gave my oh so boring evening a purpose...I love easter eggs, especially in music...I'm gonna spend 2 hours at that site.

Thats one reason The Simpsons was so great.. so many little things in the background that most people never noticed that made the show so funny and unique :thumbsup

Last episode, they were showing a factory in China, and there was a banner on the building that read "Force your daugter to work day" :1orglaugh Not really an easter egg, but still funny.

Yeah I have been with CCBill for a couple years now, I've lived through the whole wavmanuk password posting. That motherfucker (or group of motherfuckers) took us for some serios bandwidth. Not good.

It's all under control now, this was years ago.

WavManUK was a notorious cracker - probably one of the most feared of the early days, much like Mitnick was feared while he was on the run.
