Guess I need to get used to this sound system

A couple weeks ago I bought a new sound system for my new tv. I will admit, it has certainly changed the television viewing experience for me, but last night it freaked me out.

My son gave me this DVD to watch (Eurotrip), since work was done I decided to go out to the den to enjoy it.

The opening credits are going on, with the background music when all of a sudden there is a loud boom from the sub-woofer. I actually got up to see if it had fallen over or something but all looked well. Went back to the couch.

All of a sudden weird scratching noises started coming from the Yamaha and I thought for sure something had gone haywire. I was getting pissed. This thing cost too much to break down after 2 weeks . . . especially since I have been away more than home.

Eventually the noises started coming more frequently and I figured out they had been added to the mix. I was quite relieved.

Guess I just need to get used to having a good sound system.

I got the Yamaha because of all the brick, tile and glass made it impossible to do neatly. Pretty cool setup though.

It actually made it so the surround sound not only includes the den but the living room as well,
