Jose Canseco has gone Wacko.

The dude is just nuts.
Listening to him on the Dan Patrick show is just fucking disturbing.

boneprone 05-14-2002 02:49 PM

he is really really fucked up nuts.
Its sad cause growing up he was always my favorite player.

I have something like 3000 Jose Baseball cards and everything.
Had the biggest collection.

Flew to Ballparks just to watch him play.

Damn. Just sad. Never knew he was nuts

kmanrox 05-14-2002 02:51 PM

why dont u elaborate?

my next thread i start is gonna be 'Can u believe what Quentin Tarrantino said, hes nuts!'

and im not gonna post anything to support this

Cheshire 05-14-2002 02:53 PM

I was a big fan of his when he was on the A's and I was just a kid. That was about the time I started playing on a local team for my age group.
To me he was like Tiger and golf, had the looks and ability to get me interested in the sport.

Too bad, so sad.

So wrong... So long.

TheFLY 05-14-2002 02:53 PM

I hate pitching for him too...

boneprone 05-14-2002 02:59 PM

you can listen to it there...he didn't sound nuts to me.

Penrod 05-14-2002 03:30 PM

I use to frequent his (ex)wife's establishment in Coconut Grove.
It was a pretty sleazy strip bar called Alley Cat. I think her name was Esther.

eroswebmaster 05-14-2002 03:34 PM

Well I take that back...I'm getting to the last part of the show and the guy's really angry about something.

Royaltee_Gee 05-14-2002 03:43 PM

Canseco is the king man....

back in oakland.. that guys stock was high... he fucked so many bitches, damn... and the juice, he was huge....

he didnt get 500 homers and he could barely hit the ball in the minors let alone in the big leagues. i'd be pissed too...

his only chance to get in the hall would be to hit 500+.

boneprone 05-14-2002 03:48 PM

he still could hit.
Thats the whole problem.
There were political factors as to why he was "exiled "
from baseball to prevent him from playing.

This is what he is pissed about.
ITs a huge cover up conspiracy

Cheshire 05-14-2002 04:04 PM

"I know he wanted to get to 500 home runs, but that's not important. He should still be proud of himself," Mets catcher Mike Piazza said. "He really did a lot to further the game and raise the bar for all the players today."

He's covering his ass before the tell-all comes out.

hahahahahaaa!

hey, if he laid off the German muscle juice, worked on his game, and stopped whoring around, he's have been a shoe-in for the Hall. The guy was awesome, dominating, and scary. Blowing out his back, and his elbow, were really bad - but I think the roids helped make him injury prone.

Cheshire 05-14-2002 04:57 PM

How did they do that Steve?

FlyingIguana 05-14-2002 05:39 PM

i don't think roids make u injury prone.

Milton 05-14-2002 05:44 PM

who you talking about? Forsberg or what?

Cheshire 05-14-2002 05:44 PM

Stupidity makes you injury prone.

Do 'roids make you stupid... that's the arguement. Any time little guy takes over for the grey matter is a dangerous time for all.

kmanrox 05-14-2002 06:05 PM

he's filthy rich, wtf does he care what ppl say about him now =)

RaGe 05-14-2002 07:26 PM

He was my favourite player as a kid too.. I use to pretend I was him whenever I played :glugglug

TeraBabes 05-14-2002 08:58 PM

Jose was the best. Love him or hate him, he was the one everyone wanted to watch at the plate. Even his strikeouts were exciting. You never saw people going to the bathroom or the concession stand when Jose was at the plate. There was always a chance you'd miss him smacking one 500 feet.

You're right. I always sat behind home plate, if he would come up to bat I would just sit there and watch patiently. If I had to piss, my Coke cup came in handy.

Long live Jose!

FlyingIguana 05-14-2002 10:41 PM

too bad he's been an injury bug. he would nailed 500 homers easy. when he done that 40-40 i thought he would dominate the mvp award for years to come. then he kinda faded away

FATPad 05-14-2002 10:55 PM

Very talented athlete. Fun to watch. Mental case.

Unfortunately, the most memorable moment of his career that will live forever is him running back to catch a fly ball, having it conk off his noggin and land over the wall for a homerun.
