Well, if anyone hasn't guessed yet by my previous posts, I'm setting up a TGP. For now, I just plan on marketing my own affiliate galleries and not open it up to anyone else.

So now knowing the guts of a TGP, I look at other TGP sites and say holy shit, these guys have a crapload of galleries and the work that must be done to maintain these (if they are doing it all themselves and not taking open webmaster or partner submissions). I would assume that a TGP will stay popular and get bookmark trafic only if the site is constantly updated. I know I can load galleries and auto show them in the future, but how often and how many galleries should be updated/released per day to keep the traffic?

you need to update about 1/3 of your gallerys per day.. to get and keep your bookmarks..

MarkMan that's the best idea but in lack of time 1/4 will do the job!

I use about 50, 60 fresh (submitted) galleries a day at the moment

I tend to use partner accounts and try to update daily.It's tough to get fresh content on a constant basis without partners
