Email from the future
 

okay..... at first I thought this was a fuckup on someone else's end, but it's still happening... so it must run deeper than that.

The last couple of days, I've been getting email (from various senders) that's dated, get this, IN THE FUTURE. :eek7

yes.... the future....

yesterday I was getting email dated today, and today I'm getting email that's dated the 15th. How the fuck it is possible?

I checked my system clock here and everything is groovy..... but if I can't figure this out soon,... format c: baby.... format c:

a few email programs list emails by the date sent, so some spammers set their computers dates ahead, then send out spam looking like it comes from the future, which throws their spam to the top of your inbox...

actually, no.... I thought of that too, but it's coming from people I know as well....

But got the same thing 2 days ago.. i get loads of spam
and my date/clock was fucked.. i run this machine for 3 years
and never happened earlier so it caught my attention..

but the even more bizarre thing is that it's not ALL email... just some of it... and through the same server as well, so it can't be the server clock....

actually, a friend of mine emails me from his MAC and a the emails appear at the bottom of my inbox list with dates from 1969 and shit. i think he's messing with the dates on his email program, but he swears not.

absolutely not.... I believe they ARE from the future....

I think I've somehow accidentally tapped into the secret coding built into Outlook that allows me to receive & view emails before they are actually even written.
