Michael is most likely doing it in trade for his son, Henry Gale said that they had killed "two others" so Michael was probably sent to kill two of them in exchange for his son.

The episode was in the can long before the DUI's. Although it is funny how they both got shot and both had DUI's lmao. I dont think the blonde is dead.

Did Michael find out the others werent as evil as he thought, but his need to get Walt back was so great that he shot himself to keep everyone determined to go to war? Brainwashed? Who knows. Fun series though.

Here's what I think: He was sent by the others to get that prisoner guy free. He's trying to protect Walt for sure. He shot himself in the arm to simulate a struggle with the prisoner, then I'm thinking he lets the guy go back to the others and he (Michael) remains. He will from now on be the hidden infiltrator, and will continue to do whatever he's told in order to protect his kid.
