What is the standard procedure for the call guys/gals to answer?

In an earlier job I saw someone do this:

wife: I´m sure my husband does not call a seedy service as this
rep: Is this your phone number XXXXXXXXX
wife: Yes
rep: Is this your email xxxxx@xxxxxx
wife: yes
rep: Well then unless your dog can use a phone, or pretend he is ´mister bigcock69´ and likes wanking off to pictures of barely 18 year olds and chats to them for hours and hours, - let me get the chatlogs up -, about his wife who never wants to fuck, it´s probably your hus....
wife: - BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

I suppose the best way to handle the call is to say something about we can only give out information to the actual card holder, please have your husband give us a call.

Now her name is on the account. You'd really hate to get the poor guy in deep shit. On the other hand just confirming the call is corrrect according to records might be doing him a favor in the long run? There is always the chance of fraud.

Best to have teenage kids around to blame!
