The US has the better business bureau, what does the UK have?
Is there a UK version of the US's better business bureau? Where can I file complaints about UK businesses? I have the VAT number if it helps.

But if the issue is about debts or money owed - sue em. Claims under 10K UK pounds (about $18K) can be handled by a County Court and costs little money (and no massive lawyers fees). There is also a nice clause in the Companies Act where you automatically get an order to remove assets to match any debts without further discussion. (Only ever used that once and was a very large company - arrived with a bailiff and gave em 10 mins to pay - else the office reception furniture gets removed first. They paid.) |

Story! You have to be familiar with these bits of plastic called "sex dolls"? Anyways... there was a press ad offering this crap and claiming vital stats of 36-24-36 blah. Of course the stats depended on how much ya blow the shit up. :) Along came two reps from OFT to check the dimensions of a blow up doll and they reckoned it had a 34 bust (I never asked em the cup size). I asked them - now don't you think, despite you consider her bust to be only 34" that she is one damned hottie anyways? :) And... if ya just blow some fucking air into her she can be really busty - that is, if you like playing with big plastic tits. :pimp They gave up and made plans to get some lunch someplace and left. I seriously doubt OFT would be of any relevance unless there was some major fraud or real cause for a product or service causing personal injury. |
