Anyone Know How To Restore a file if ..
 

Photoshop was being a pain in the ass and didn't save a psd I had done and it is gone !! I tried a system restore but that is not working ?? does it save a temp file anywhere ?? Just worked on a paysite for 5 hours and then the file is mia :( I had saved it several times until it just fucked up

Looks like I will have to redo the psd :( boo hoo

no idea, but the system restore has nothing to do with non-system files

but i think PS has an auto-save option, should use that

You can try looking in Start > Documents. Sometimes recent stuff is there, not sure of PS puts those in there or not.

ya i saved it every 2 mins with Ctrl S but my pc crashed and when I opened the file it was right where I had cropped the psd befor the crash ..

yea it's there but it's the one that over wrote the entire psd I was working on when the pc froze up and crashed ... :(
