.avi and .mpg crashin explorer
 

Alright, a couple guys I work with are having problems with video on their respective machines. When one tryies to play an .avi movie his explorer crashes and the other has the same problem only with .mpg videos. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is causeing this and how it can be resolved without having to wipe their machine?

prob an improper codec installed. ( btw thats also a common sign that your video card is going bad )

good work, guy with the .avi problem had a bad divx codec and it's been fixed thanx alot
