Longhorn KILLS outback...They just opened one up across the street from an Outback back in Ohio.....I haven't tried the steak but the ribs beats outback hands down...I also had blackened salmon at Longhorn...One of the best meals I've eaten in awhile.

Last steak I had at outback sucked ass. I could tell it wasn't going to be good when she was bringing it to me.

Best steak I have had was at Harry Caray's in Chicago. Fuck that place is great.

Now a REAL steakhouse is Blackie's House Of Beef in Washington DC. or Mo's in Milwaukee...Lawd have mercy those steaks are good!

Anybody who picks outback OBVIOUSLY hasn't eaten at Longhorn...Outback is the McDonalds of steaks...And Longhorn isn't far ahead as the BurgerKing of steaks...We all know that burger king tastes better than Mcdonalds...but when you break it down, they're both fast food burgers...Better can be cooked at home.

Haha... Steak Wars! I never said Outback wasn't a chain. Ruth's Chris is excellent. However, for you to say there is "no competition" is crazy. Thats like saying, "Burger King is the best, there is no competition". :1orglaugh

I haven't been to one in a long time but Smokey Bones used to have a good steak.

I went to Longhorn Steakhouse today. My experiences at Outback Steakhouse have not been good. Longhorn has good steaks but order them without their "prairie dust" or you'll be suffering from sodium overload.

I've only been to each less than half a dozen times and the only other chain steakhouse around here is Texas Roadhouse which I went to twice and would never go back.

I have to say that McCormick & Wollensky's along with Jack Binion's pretty much rock
