But when the phantom menace let so many down...we begin to wonder...with all the hype and marketing shit...

I will always go see any star wars movie that comes out...simply because I was once a young jedi myself...

But no longer are they the classics they once were...the original 3 are and always will be the dopest sci-fi flicks ever. But something has been lost in the new ones...maybe I'm getting older but I liked the way it was done before with models and puppets and make-up...

Don't get me wrong Computer Animation is great but for some reason it lacks the gritty realism that doing things the old fashioned way had.

I dunno, I think it'll match spiderman's but... not sure. Only because Yoda is a bad mofu, and even tho Im not a huge star wars fan, I still talk like him and I'm his bitch.

Seriously...Star Wars is opening on THURSDAY...not Friday as is the norm...I think this is so that if it doesn't break a new record, Lucas can say, "Well it opened on Thursday!" and save face. Well, that's my theory anyway!

For comics, Spiderman wins hand's down over Star Wars.

But for movies, Star Wars is, was and will always be king. No skrawny crawly fruitluup in tights is going to top Star Wars.

I don't think any movie or tv show ever based on any Marvel Comic hero has ever really shown as memorable, except for maybe the first season of "The Hulk" with Ferrigno. Obviously phenominal box office #'s for this version of Spidey, but 99% of the reviews (both personal and professional) have been quite negative.
