Some have argued that poverty is what has caused terrorist actions from Muslims gainst nations like the US. I think that while many of the people may be in poverty for various reasons, it is religion, namely Islam (taken literally or practised incorrectly - I do not know which), that unites those poor to commit violent acts. Under what they are made to believe is the sanction of God or Allah, people will do just about anything if they're true believers. I think their are many internal and external causes of this.
