Dutch Designers: Do you charge BTW to US clients?
 

My accountant just told me to charge BTW (VAT) on the services I do for US clients, because I do the service FROM the Netherlands.

I never did that in the past 6 years, so I wonder if he is right.

Do you charge BTW to those clients for a SERVICE? A product is a different story he told me, but I do not think so.
