But... no one was more Cooler and Mischevious than Mr. David Addison.

Moonlighting by a mile. Miami vice was too "action show cliche" for my tastes. It had it's moments but it wasn't THE show in my book.

The sexual tension played off between ex-model Maddy Hayes (Cybill Shepherd) and David Addison (Bruce Willis) while solving cases was priceless.

Miami Vice. I still watch it on TV land.

Yep.. Ed S. had lots of biggies on his show... I remember watching the Beatles' first U.S. appearance... Couldn't even hear em from the girls screaming..

Miami Vice.
A number of reasons, but selfishly, since it was shot in my neck of the woods (at the time) I ended up being an extra on the show about 7 different episodes, and got to be a part of the whole experience of how cool and productive it was for the city of Miami at the time.

Aside form that - I still would have liked it better, it was cool, trendy, and frankly a better show than Moonlighting.

Actually it was Laugh-in and The Smothers Brothers show that did it for me.

Moonlighting was a great show but Miami Vice is still one of the best shows ever.

Hot women, guns, fashion, drugs, hot women, powerboats, sports cars... what else can a man ask for?

miami vice was the hip show to watch in the late 80's to see what Don Johnson was wearing and what cool boats and cars they had

Tough one ... I like them both. But I'd have to go with Moonlighting. Bruce was a real pimp and Don Johnson was kinda "soft".

But Miami Vice did have better eye candy.
