Anyone Else ONLY Accepting Postal Money Orders and Cash for Members?
 

On some of my sites I only accept Postal money orders or cash from surfers to join my sites. Lately it seems since tax time is passing, I am getting quite a few sign ups and even some 6 month subscriptions to a few of my sites, because the cash option is so much more of a bargain since I dont factor in sales tax or any tax, under the table memberships.

I am starting to get embarrassed when I show up at the bank with like 60-75 money orders from members and its also becoming very difficult to keep track of when memberships expire and who paid and when.

Anyone know of a program that may help me keep this info accurate and up to date.

yes we have $99 a year membership payable by money order and we do a few a week..
Funny I never thought it would work and told me partner that was a stupid idea

Why do cash only, though? I don't get the reason. If I'm missing something obvious, just slap me. Why not do both CC and cash?

One thing that comes to my mind is called, tax man, no records,
if you were getting alot of these, cash,money orders and such,
and were Inc. in the state of NV..... as a partnership...

One that comes to mind, it's a Tele marketing tool, with a recall date in it.... I use to use TeleMagic.... it's a pretty slick program...

Am pretty sure you could also do it with Act also..

that rules, the problem i see though, is where the hell do you have them send it? are people trusting enough just to send it to a p.o. box?!

Ohh yes, I ran my paysite with money orders and cash...But also had CC also....But I found that the men who were married, it was safer for them to send by money order or cash. And yes I had a P.O. box set up just for that purpose, It was an easy way of doing business and it also made the connection to the member more personal and he would stay for months and months...LOL

I still have several members who have been with me since the site opened, and that was in 1997..Money orders do wonders for a paysite;-)
