I would like to hire one or two outsorced guys, but I've heard a lot of horrible stories about it, so I would like to hear your experiences
Thanks, Niki |

I am getting ready to try an outsourced designer as soon as I find the time to get him the project specs so he can quote the project. Should be fun to see how it works out.

I don't know about outsourcing, but here's my take:
When I was teaching myself web development; through trial-and-error, reverse engineering other people's code to see how it works and why, working with people who called themselves "developers", I've realized something... There are many, many ways to arrive at a solution. Some good. Some not so good. I've used a few pre-built scripts / programs / packages online to help speed development. And like I just mentioned, I worked with people who did things differently than others, but still provided a solution. I realized, the best solution is to either code it yourself or find someone who codes it in a way that makes the most sense to you (something you can learn from, modify to your whim, and actually use). If you know nothing of how how to build something, this, obviously, isn't an option since you don't know what you're getting, but only that it works / doesn't work. In regard to outsourcing, I'd say this: -- Make sure you both completely agree on what the project entails, to the most exact definitions and deliverables that can be defined; functionality, design, (whatever). |
Outsourcing is the art of finding the right person for the job.
If you're cheap, well, you'll get what you pay for. If you're not thorough enough in your selection process, you'll end up with a flake that will waste your time or someone whose plain out a thief. Do the job right and you can sit back and watch your projects move at the speed of light |
We have an offshore office in Manila and are now offering dedicated staff btw along with FREE offshoring consultation ( www.pacrimsolutions.com )
"Outsourcing" or more accurately referred to as "offshoring" is not as much plug and play and many think. Its an art form just like anything else. With the proper management in place it can be EXTREMELY successful. Due to our experience with offshore outsourcing we are able to guide our clients to a situation that is geared towards success and thus either elevated growth or increased profitability :thumbsup |
I dont think this poll is functioning....The one i voted for is still at 0%

|
im concidering using proadultoutsourcing right now for allround grunt work. Any tesimonies?

outsourcing is the trend of the future, its all about getting the right crew and people who will manage your business without having worries. one criteria is
to put into consideration is how established that offshore company you want to partner with and what sort of standards are they differ from out outsourcing firms. :smokin |
Here's my take on outsourcing:
Unless you have a solid 10 hours to type up a proper business plan for your deisgners or programmers, you are doomed to fail. Alot of the programmers I deal with are Russian or Indian and you really need to be extremely clear with what you want. If you are a marketing guy, then have a technie next to you helping you with the terminology when writing up a work order. Our dating sites were outsourced and came out great....but some of my other 3am half-assed ideas never materialized as expected. Elance.com has been really great though. |

Fake testimonials and a scamming management....new version of Adult Outsourcing...thats all i'll say do a gfy search and the details will be filled in :thumbsup |
Outsourcing is an effective cost-saving strategy when used properly. It is sometimes more affordable to purchase a good from companies with comparative advantages than it is to produce the good internally.
One thing that is important when you outsource it that make sure that the person that'll do the job understands completely what you wanted to do.There are pros and cons about it so you have to be careful on who you trust.Go for the ones who offer trials to help you decide:thumbsup |

hey! have you seen the testimonial yourself? do you think we will have the courage here to post the names and the companies of those respected clients if those are fake? we never scammed anyone... we do offer trials and that would help clients to decide after... we never forced anyone to use us... |

Just for a clarification, ProAdultoutsourcing is NOT affiliated nor connected anymore with "Adult Outsourcing" which you just mentioned. We are under a new management and we made major changes to our infrastructure which has given us the edge againts our competitors. We have always practiced healthy competition with our rival companies and never from any of my Sales crew threw dirty tactics at the boards just to close accounts. This is just one of the many reasons why we remain competitive in the bizz despite while others fail. :smokin |

you know what, i dont wanna ruin this thread cause the guy was just asking for some opinions about outsourcing. I mean dont take this personally... fake testimonials?why dont you contact the clients itself and see what they say about us... scamming management? oh yeah...that's old news. Its already 2006 dude...prove that we ever scammed anybody. We're trying to be professionals here by not thrashing dirt on our competitors and i hope you's also do the same thing.:winkwink: |
I've been the worker being paid for outsourcing work. I have never had any problems with the companies that I did work for.
