a question to Germans
I've been listening to 'rammstien' and I'm was wondering about the 'front man's' enunciation . . . Is his German very clearly stated like Frank Sinatra when he's singing (FS enunciates extremely clearly) or his German exaggerated? How close is the German to everyday spoken German?

exaggerated

yes exagarated

he pronounces very clearly, but the "R" is very exaggerated... in everyday life you won't find many people speaking like this... sounds like a 3rd reich speech sometimes ;)

that's what I was wondering: which class or personality influenced the 'spoken language' at the time . . . If AH had a particular regional accent, if there were a few particular 'speakers . . radio announcers etc . .' |
i love listening to him...
