good start.. make sure you have a good site that retains well and you're halfway there.. also make sure to have lots of banners and whatnot as well. Hosted galleries are only useful to TGP affiliates, don't limit yourself :)

anyway, have you tried other amatuer sites?? there are other sites like yours like housewives with big asses etc.. why not ask them if they can send an email promoting your site to their sites members! and she gets a % of sales!
