Max # of Thumbs to put on a TGP
 

Hi, I wanna add tons of Thumbs, but I also don't want to add too many thumbs which will slow down the website for the surfers, and people with 56K.

so......What do you all feel is the perfect amount of thumbs per thumb TGP?

Also....what do you feel is the best size for a thumb...bigger OR smaller and what size exactly?

as far as speed goes, it doesnt really matter how many, in all fairness. just tone down the filesize of the thumbs... they're just thumbs after all

Oh, forgot:

I personally like smaller thumbnails. Not so small that you cant see what the pic is about, but small enough to give enough variety on the first page.

around 150 or so has worked well for me ...

I only use like 50 or so

between 50 and 100 is good... too much makes the shit look annoying

I currently have 80, tried 100 for a week last week and it did not seem to make any diference to productivity, if anything slowed site down and book markers dropped.

Going to stick with 80 for the moment.

Browse around some sites and see what they have and what catches your eye. Use that as a starting point. Then you can start tweaking with the layout, number of thumbs, etc, to see what works for you.

i think maximum 80-100... not more
usualy i stay with 50-60

under 150, it is best to post both thumbs and text links

the more thumbs the more bw keep that in mind
