Xbox, Gamecube, Playstation. What's the diff? Which one to buy?
 

I don't know jack about any of the latest video game systems (the last thing I owned was Sega lol), but I wanna buy one. Only problem is that I dunno what to get.

What the hell is the difference between all this shit? Is one system any better than another or is it all a matter of personal preference? Which one should I buy?

I'm too impatient to wait for PS3. When I get the urge to shop, I have to have it rightfuckenNOW. lol So it looks like 360 is the one to buy. But what makes it better than PS2?

Ok, Listen up. These are the facts..
1. Discount the Gamecube it died with the ark.. this battle is between the PS2 and XBox..
2. The Xbox is more powerful and Can easily conect to Broadband... The PS2 cannot Easily connect to the net and is less powerful..
3. The PS2 has better games.. (MGS, PS5, whatever.. whatever..)
Verdict: If you are considering buying now you should either wait until the PS3 comes out later this year or buy an Xbox 360 with substandard games...

ps2 is old technology dude, just got with the 360, the system will last you a couple more years

Wasn't impressed with the 360 up till now, and was gonna just wait till the launch of the PS3.

But today i played some of the EA sports titles on the 360, and i was amazed. Really liked them.

Not sure whether to go buy one now, or just keep holding off for the PS3...

Thanks nexcom. That's exactly the kind of input I was looking for. And tbh, I didn't even know wtf a gamecube was. I just saw it on an internet search. LOL I didn't realize PS2 was old, though. Shows how much I know. I thought that was a recent thing.

And Bking, I'm a "dudette". :) I'll skip the PS2, though, if it's so outdated.

I guess I'll just wait for PS3 and buy toys of a different variety for now. :D I actually only wanted it anyway cuz I just wanna play that Karaoke Revolution game. Played it at my friend's house and became addicted. I'm such a nerd. haha

It's fucking shit. And the new Nintendo machine will be shit also. Expect numerous Mario games, mario tennis, mario fucking tiddlywinks, it's all Nintendo ever do.

There market appeals to 5 year olds maybe. It won't stand a chance in Europe and America against the 360 & the PS3...

Yeah, the new Nintendo one doesn't exactly appeal to me. Wtf kinda name is Wii anyway? Although I don't mind a bit of Mario. Used to kick ass at that game. I could really dig some old school Sonic the Hedgehog right about now, too.
