do you really think you have freedom ? freedom is just an illusion created by the powers ,there has never been freedom and never will be

if have anything ,you have less freedom now then before iraq/afghanistan

True, none of us are completely free. No matter where we live. At least on this planet...

If they didn't go to Afghanistan/Iraq would you all be slaves/slaughtered?

That's how some of your media present it.... "Without our troops over there, you wouldn't be free!"

While I don't agree with war in Iraq or most of the current administrations policies, I'm pretty sure I still have my freedoms.

Please explain to me what freedoms I don't have anymore? What illusion has been casted over my pursuit of happiness that I'm too stupid to see?

errrrr..... do those messages actually get to the troops?

CyberHustler 04-28-2006 07:22 PM

nope, never recieved any of those messages when i was in afghanistan or iraq... and i probably wont see them when i go back to iraq in june. and don't thank us for your "freedom", most of us know we aint free and never will be. The majority of us in the military are just thrill seekers or didn't really have any other legal choice. The rest of us just support the U.S. being the super power becuase we rather have bush in charge than somebody like saddam. Me, i joined when i was 17 becuase i couldn't get a decent job with 3 felonies(yes they stayed on my adult record too). I get out june 2007, after my 3rd deployment... 2nd in iraq (if i make it back)... to die from depleted uranium poisoning by the time im in my 40's, if an IED doesn't get me first.
